| Emerald Sod Farms (ESF) is pleased to provide
you with some basic information about its turfgrass sod. ESF grows its crops
from seeds/cultivars that are "certified" sod quality.
The seeds/cultivars selected rank in the top percentile of all varieties tested.
We blend together 3 to 4 varieties. There is no perfect blend but
through the years, ESF has continued to grow better products by improving
color, durability, and finding varieties that are more disease resistant
and use less water and fertilizer.
ESF strives to grow a quality product on sandy loam soil, which is the best soil. ESF wants you the customer, to take care of its product so that you may have an instant, quality lawn.
