Emerald Sod Farms guarantees that all turfgrass sod purchased from Emerald Sod Farms will reach the job site free of weeds, disease and pests, and will arrive at the project site having been newly cut.

Emerald Sod Farms guarantees a 24 hour warranty due to the perishable characteristics of sod. The sod must be installed immediately and thoroughly watered. A watering schedule is key to the survival and success of newly installed sod. After installion of the sod, the customer agrees to perform scheduled and proper watering of the sod. The conditions of the soil at the job site are critical to the success of the sod's growth. The preparation of the soil is the sole responsibility of each customer.

Customers are responsible for watering and maintaining the sod even after it has been established, throughout the year. During dry winter periods, Winter Kill is the primary concern for both established and newly installed turfgrass sod. Winter Kill is not a condition that is covered by Emerald Sod Farms limited warranty.

Sod orders that include installation must be "signed off" by the customer prior to our crew leaving the customer's property. Complaints based on the crew's installation of the sod should be addressed and settled prior to the crew leaving the job site. The disposal of sod that is delivered and not used is the responsibility of the purchasing party.

Emerald Sod Farms complies with the standards and requirements set for turfgrass sod by the Colorado Department of Agriculture.

Customers are required to report any problems or complaints about the product delivered to them within 24 hours after the product is unloaded at the customer's premises in order to comply with this limited warranty.
